Church Metal is seeking an experienced TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will fabricate and weld high-quality metal components, with the majority of your work focused on TIG welding stainless steel parts. We are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in precision craftsmanship, quality workmanship, and continuous learning.

This position offers excellent opportunities for professional development, including company-supported advanced welding certifications and career growth toward Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.

Key Responsibilities (Experienced TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator):

• Perform TIG and MIG welding to quality standards established by the Production Manager.
• Primarily perform TIG welding on stainless steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to produce parts accurately.
• Complete fabrication tasks using various shop equipment, including:
• • Rolling machines
  • Automated seam welders
  • Planishers
  • Hydraulic presses
• Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality and production requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications (Experienced TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator):

Required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to successfully complete and pass AWS certification testing administered by Church Metal.
• Strong TIG and MIG welding skills.
• Ability to commute to Milwaukee, WI 53225.

Preferred

• AWS certification in sheet metal welding.
• Associate degree from a Technical College or related training program.
• Minimum of 4 years of welding experience.
• Experience working with stainless steel fabrication.
