Job Full Description TIG Welder / Fabricator Job Summary: A fast-paced manufacturing company is seeking a TIG (GTAW) welder to join their team on 1st shift. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company where you can work independently and take the next step in your career!
TIG Welder / Fabricator Requirements: - TIG (GTAW) welding tube and plate with a variety of aluminum materials
- Read and interpret engineered drawings to fabricate products
- Measure and fabricate raw materials utilizing a variety of equipment (shear, press brake, drill press, hand drill, grinder, etc)
- Perform metal finishing using contour grinding techniques
- Generate and create written replenishment orders for raw and vendor-sourced materials
Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 am-3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $24.63/hr based on experience
TIG Welder / Fabricator Qualifications: - 3-5 years of TIG (GTAW)/Fabrication welding experience
- Previous experience utilizing fabrication equipment required (shear, press brake, drill press, etc)
- Must have own tools (welding hood, welpers, small grinder, hammer-chisel, fillet and V-WAC gauges)
- Must be competent and able to efficiently and precisely weld a variety of aluminum materials
- Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings
- Must be able to duplicate template and sample materials
- Must be Proficient in Complex Weldments
- Basic mechanical skills required for safely and effectively testing certain components (pressure and leak test tanks)
- Safely operate Shop Equipment, including a forklift
